PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Li-angle grinder is a hand-held electric tool used for grinding (grinding) and polishing. Although originally developed as a tool for rigid grinding discs, the availability of interchangeable power supplies encourages their use with a variety of tools and accessories.

The motor drives the gear head at a right angle, on which is mounted a grinding plate or a thinner cutting plate, which can be replaced in case of wear. Angle grinder usually has an adjustable shield and a side handle for two handed operation. Some angle grinders, depending on their speed range, can be used as sanders, using sanding discs with support pads or discs. The angle grinder has large bearings to offset the lateral force generated in the cutting process. Unlike the electric drill, the force is axial.

This may be because pneumatic grinders can be small and light, but still powerful, because they do not contain heavy copper motor windings, while electric grinders are more difficult to maintain sufficient power in smaller sizes. Electric grinders are more commonly used for large heavy duty operations.

Yes it does have a backing pad with shoulders that holds the shaft. You can remove to put a wire wheel or other disk if need be. Hope that helps.

Does this need hubbed grinder wheels or no?

No.

Can depressed center disks be used with this grinder or only flat center ones?

Shouldn't have any problems for flat or depressed disks on any contractor grade grinders. Don't have this one but check the key wrench if it could reach deep enough to remove the lock nut. The grinding stones are really deep as with diamond concrete grinding cup wheels. Couldn't find any aftermarket keys with deep enough reach, had to make my own.

Does this come with a grinding wheel or cut-off wheel?

No wheels supplied with grinder.

Will it grind tree roots?

It will cutt anything as long as you have the appropriate wheel 4 to 4 1/2".

Does this grinder come with the handle and guard?

It comes with a handle and 2 types of guards.
